We loved working with Dr. Jennifer Karon-Flores at Nurture Clinic and we love the mission of her clinic!  “No matter where you are on your journey to full body wellness, we’ll meet you there, and support you every step of the way.”  The Nurture Clinic in Portland, Oregon focuses on creating personalized wellness plans for clients to achieve their natural state of great health.

We worked with Dr. Karon-Flores to build a blog for the Nurture Clinic website.  We built the blog to be a seamless addition and integrated the logo and patterns from the website.  Blogs aren’t very useful if you can’t access them regularly so we taught Dr. Karon-Flores how to update and make changes within the blog without having to learn code or HTML language.  Now she can log in to her blog and create new posts and updates whenever she’s ready to publish.

In January of 2012, Enter The Net was approached by James Phelps, who had just opened the doors to his new business: JKP Fundraising. After years in the non-profit world, James is putting his fundraising and development expertise to work for any non-profits willing to engage his services. He is one of those people who raises more money for an organization than he is paid. A win for everyone!

James wanted a website to serve as his online brochure- to share the basics of what he can do for his targeted clients. James also writes for various online publications, so he needed a landing page for the links that appear in his author information on those articles. Enter The Net assisted James with the process of purchasing a domain name and hosting.

As a way to add some “philosophy” to his site, James included famous quotes about philanthropy from Thoreau, Emerson, Churchill, MLK, Seuss and others. Enter The Net devised a way to rotate the quotes on all pages so that a different one shows up every time a new page is loaded. The site is also infused with Google Analytics tracking code so James can track all sorts of stats about his site.

Enter The Net also provided James with training in how to make basic changes to his website. We remain on call to assist James with any questions he may have about the site, making changes to it, marketing it and generally maximizing it to serve his business well.

Portland-based Neurofeedback specialist Darla Muelemans needed a new website she could easily update.

She contracted Enter The Net to design the site, transfer content from the existing site and train her in how to make changes to the new site.

The site was developed in a “folder” on the existing site so that both she and Enter The Net could make sure it was exactly as desired. When it was ready, Enter The Net simply replaced the old site with the new one.

Portland author Nora Gedgaudas recently penned an important book about the nexus between diet and mental health. A major portion of the marketing for the new book involves nourishing a community of like-minded supporters. One of the best ways to do this is to add a blog to the site which will be constantly updated with new, useful information.

Enter The Net was involved in this project on two main levels:

1. The graphic design of the website was provided by Dee Lieber of Sol Identity. Enter The Net was hired to “code” the provided graphic design into a functional website.
2. Enter The Net custom-designed the installed WordPress Blog on the site. The goal was to create blog that was as nearly identical to the original web design as possible.
